We carry with us memories of things and places that have influenced us. But the world changes and it doesn’t stay the same that it is in our memories.
Liminality refers to the transitional state that occurs when a person or community moves from one state to another. It is often accompanied by uncertainty, confusion and the possibility of change. During change, a liminal state can arise where a person faces uncertainty and confusion before moving on and facing their new identity and place.
With this project I dive deep into the meanings of our memories and how we apprehend those things and experiences that have affected us.
